Demo Application B

Commercial/Industrial/Public Building Demolition Requirements

  1. Completed Demo application B.

  2. Have Mt Carmel Public Utility complete Demolition Sign off Form in Demo Application. 

    1. The application will not be approved without the completed form signed off by a Mt. Carmel Public Utility Representative.

  3. A surety bond in the amount of S5,000.00 or a cash bond in the amount of $500.00.(once cleanup and completion of demolition bond will be released). 
  4. Evidence that arrangements have been made to properly collect and dispose of demolition material.
  5. Completion of demolition and cleanup within 60 days from start date.
  6. A permit fee of $100.00.

Illinois asbestos laws govern the proper executions of demolition on commercial properties, garages, homes, warehouses etc.
