The Person or company doing the actual excavation and directional boring is the one who is required to obtain a permit and must provide a bond in the amount of 1.5 times the construction costs to cover any repairs to public facilities.
A permit fee of $100.00 dollars is require for any application for Directional Boring.
Directional boring contractors are required to be registered with The City of Mount Carmel as a contractor.
The application for Directional Boring must be completed and a mapped route plan must be attached with application. The projected cost of the construction must be listed upon the application.
Directional boring once approved by permit can only be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM
