A fence application is required for any type fence, new or existing replacement.
- No part of the fence may encroach upon the adjoining property.
- Pictures of the material used to construct the fence must be provided.
- A plat of the property. (This can be obtained from Wabash County Assessor's Office)
- No portion of the fence that extends into the front yard can be greater than four (4) feet in height.
- A detailed drawing of the proposed fence area which shows the distance from the property line to the fence and distance from any platted easements to the fence must be attached.
Structures on easements are prohibited.
Sec. 6-51
No structure of any kind or nature, including but not limited to buildings and outbuildings, shall be placed upon any utility easement in the city shown or recorded in the public records of Wabash County, Illinois.
